Burglary While Owner Walking His Dog, Theft

The following arrest information was supplied by the Skokie Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Residential Burglary 

Someone entered a residence on the 8500 block of Monticello Avenue, between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. June 26 through the unlocked door while the victim was walking his dog. Once inside, the man’s money clip containing $200, a debit card, driver's license, and Apple iPad were removed.

Retail Theft
Someone removed a Titleist driver head from the shaft of a club at entered Nordstrom's on June 25. The offender left the store without paying for the item.

Theft
Reported: 06/25/13

Someone removed an unsecured black, Power X bicycle from a backyard on the 5400 block of Main Street, between June 10 at 7 p.m. and June 11 at 2 p.m.

Criminal Damage to Property
Someone threw a full Corona beer bottle through a front plate glass window on the 5200 block of Howard Street, between 1 and 7 a.m. on June 26 

Arrests
Carol L. Targun, 50, of, Northbrook, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, on the 3800 block of Main Street on June 26.
