Car Stolen, Found and Burglarized

The following arrest information was supplied by the Skokie Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Teen charged with battery

A female teen stole several pieces of merchandise from Marshall's, 9445 Skokie Blvd., on April 23. According to police, a loss prevention worker tried to stop the teen from leaving the premise, but was slapped in the back of the head by a male juvenile outside the store, allowing the first offender to escape.

When officers arrived on scene they located the attacking male and charged him with battery, police said. Only one arrest was made.

Car stolen, found and burglarized

A car was reported stolen on April 24. However, the owner would later find her vehicle at the corner of Grove and Knox later that day, police said. Several items were missing from the vehicle after it was discovered, the report stated.

DUI

Unurbavar Tsendsuren, 34, of Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on April 24. The offender was stopped in the 7900 block of Lincoln Avenue, police said.

Disorderly conduct

A 32-year-old Des Plaines man was charged with disorderly conduct on April 24. The man was arrested at the Department of Human Services, 8020 St. Louis Ave., after he was denied food stamps, the report stated. The offender knocked over a computer monitor and acted disorderly, police said.

Graffiti

Police observed graffiti on a garage door in the 9100 block of Kolmar Avenue on April 24.
