Charges Filed Against Two 15-Year-Olds For Robbery, Battery In Skokie Friday

The incident happened in the 9000 block of Bronx Avenue. An arrest is merely an accusation, not evidence of a conviction.


Criminal charges have been filed against two female juveniles, both 15-year-olds from Chicago, in connection with a robbery which took place in Skokie on Friday, Aug. 9, the Skokie Police Department announced. They are charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated battery and unlawful use of a credit card, and their case will be heard in juvenile court. 

The incident occurred in the 9000 block of Bronx Ave. Friday. According to Skokie police, the two female offenders approached the victim from behind as she was walking home from work.  One of the offenders struck the victim with a blunt object while the other offender pulled the victim’s hair.  The offenders then stole the victim’s purse, which contained credit cards, a cell phone and several other miscellaneous items.
