• Criminal Damage to Property at 5055 Madison Street, Madison Place Condominiums, between December 1st at 1:22 p.m. and January 19th at 1:22 p.m.  Reported:  01/19/2014. An unknown person(s) broke the wooden fence on the south end of the building.

Burglary

• Burglary at 7447 St. Louis Avenue, Prime Air, on January 20th at 2:07 a.m.  Reported:  01/20/2014. An unknown person(s) gained entry through a side door.  Computer equipment was stolen.

Burglary Attempt

• Burglary Attempt at 4417 Oakton Street, Cung King Lo Chop Suey, between January 17th at 8:00 p.m. and January 19th at 3:39 p.m.  Reported:  01/19/2014. An unknown person(s) attempted to force open the rear door to the business.

Burglary from Motor Vehicle

• Burglary from Motor Vehicle on the 7900 block of Keeler Avenue, between January 18th at 2:00 p.m. and January 20th at 4:45 a.m.  Reported:  01/20/2014. An unknown person(s) entered the unlocked Jeep and stole the vehicle manual and registration from the glove box.

Criminal Trespass to Vehicle on the 7900 block of Keeler Avenue, between January 19th at 10:00 p.m. and January 20th at 6:07 a.m.  Reported:  01/20/2014. An unknown person(s) entered the unlocked Ford.  Nothing is known to have been taken.

Disorderly Conduct

• Disorderly Conduct on the 4800 block of Conrad Street, on January 19th at 4:44 p.m.  Reported:  01/19/2014. Two unknown subjects deployed a fire extinguisher in the basement of the building causing the fire alarm to go off.  One subject was described as a light-skinned male (possibly Hispanic) 10-12 years of age.  The other subject was described as race unknown, 5’10” to 6’ tall, slim build wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with the hood up.

Retail Theft

• Retail Theft at 4999 Old Orchard Road, Coach, on January 19th between 5:45 and 5:50 p.m.  Reported:  01/19/2014. The store clerk reported that while she went in back to get a product, two unknown subject(s) stole several display items from the Coach store. 

• Retail Theft at 4999 Old Orchard Road, Northface, on January 20th at 7:37 p.m.  Reported:  01/20/2014. An unknown male Hispanic with short black hair, thin build, in his twenties, 5’10”, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, long sleeve shirt with graphics on the front and jeans, concealed a winter Northface jacket in his bag and exited the store.

Theft of Lost Property

• Theft of Lost Property at 7000 Carpenter, AMC Theatres, on January 18th between 12:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.  Reported:  01/19/2014. An unknown person(s) by unknown means stole the victim’s wallet from the Theatres.

• Theft at 4999 Old Orchard, Corner Bakery, on January 19th at 4:00 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.  Reported:  01/19/2014. An unknown person(s) stole the victim’s wallet out of her purse.

Deceptive Practices

• Deceptive Practices on the 9400 block of Lowell Avenue, on January 15th at 8:00 a.m.  Reported:  01/20/2014. An unknown person(s) used the victim’s personal information to apply for unemployment.
