Cops: Stolen Credit Card Leads to Teen's Arrest

A teen was charged with burglary after he used a stolen credit card, police said.

Skokie police arrested a male juvenile who burglarized a vehicle in the 9100 block of Bennett Avenue on Nov. 24, 2012. Officers tracked the suspect down recently after the teen used a stolen credit card at several retail locations, according to police.

Based on an ongoing investigation, which included reviewing surveillance video from several locations and the distribution of a Patrol Alert flyer, a witness was able to positively identify the juvenile suspect, police said.

The juvenile suspect was charged with one count of burglary, with illegal credit card usage charges pending.
