Decapitated Body Found Near School in Evanston
School officials cancel classes after gruesome discovery.

A decapitated body was found outside Nichols Middle School about 7 a.m. Sept. 14. The school at 1500 McDaniel Ave. will be closed for the day.
"The only thing that I know is that at body was found outside the school," said District 65 Communications Director Pat Markham. "The streets are blocked off and we've closed Nichols school today. This happened about an hour and a half before school started."

A man told the Chicago Tribune that his dog led him to a man missing his head and shirt. He also said a strong odor was present from a nearby shopping bag.
"I thought my dog was chasing a rabbit, but when I got close it was a body without a head," he told the Tribune. "There was a weird smell in the air. I wasn't expecting what I saw."
