Drug Deal Gone Bad Costs Teen His Clothes, Police Say

An Evanston man was arrested after the incident in Skokie on robbery and drug charges.

A drug deal went very wrong last week, resulting in a Skokie teen losing his clothes and an Evanston man arrested for armed robbery.

Two Skokie teens arranged to meet Corie R. Bissette, 21, of Evanston, and another teen from Skokie May 15 to buy pot from Bissette and the teen, according to Skokie police.

The two teens, however, had planned to rob Bisette and the teen and pulled out a pellet gun, police said. But Bissette knew it was not real. He started chasing one of the teens and pulled a knife on him, demanding that the boy take off his clothes.

Bissette took the boy’s clothes and left. Skokie police said they were able to quickly apprehend all of those involved.

Bisette was arrested for armed robbery and delivery of cannabis. One teen was arrested for aggravated battery and possession of cannabis, one for aggravated robbery and possession of cannabis and the third for armed robbery, battery and delivery of cannabis.
