Breaking News: Edens Bank Robbed
Police issue a description of suspect in Skokie holdup.
Edens Bank, 5256 Dempster St., was robbed earlier this afternoon, according to police.
The suspect is described as a tall African-American male, wearing a navy blue jacket with a hood, a black baseball cap and black gym shoes without socks and was carrying a weapon, police reported.
Edens Bank is located less than 100 yards from Interstate 94, and police said the robber might have driven away in a white sport utility vehicle.
