Eight Thieves Steal 50 Clothing Items From Bloomingdale's, Police Say

There were seven males and one female. An arrest is merely an accusation, not evidence of a conviction.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

  • Burglary to Motor Vehicle on the 8900 block of Lamon Avenue, between November 6th at 4:00 p.m. and November 7th at 8:00 a.m.  Reported:  11/07/2013. An unknown person(s) entered the unlocked Lincoln and stole $2.00 in change and other items.

Retail Theft

  • Retail Theft at 4963 Old Orchard Road, Bloomingdales, on November 6th between 8:28 p.m. and 8:32 p.m.  Reported:  11/06/2013. Seven male black subjects and one female black subject wearing hoods or ski hats grabbed approximately 50 pieces of Burberry clothing from the store and ran through the north door without paying for the merchandise.

  • Criminal Defacement of Property on the 8100 block of Monticello Avenue, on November 6th at 9:15 p.m.  Reported:  11/06/2013. An unknown person(s) used black spray paint to write “CREDTC” on a west door.
