Missing Man from Evanston Found

He went missing Tuesday.

Updated Thursday at 10:40 a.m.: 

Jeffrey P. Moran has been located and is OK, Evanston police said Thursday morning. They are not releasing more information in order to maintain his privacy.

The following information is from the Evanston Police Department:

The Evanston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance with a missing person that was reported in the early morning hours on today’s date from his residence in Evanston.  Jeffrey P. Moran, age 68 was last seen on July 15, 2014 at approximately 7PM when he advised he was leaving to go to the Walgreen’s on Dempster St. in Skokie. There has been no contact since police have been notified by family and the missing is not in possession of a vehicle or cell phone at this time.  Mr. Moran is suffering from a medical issue that may affect his cognitive ability and sense of awareness.

Mr. Moran is described as male/white,  5’11”/170 lbs. and was last seen wearing a brown sweater, brown pants, tennis shoes and possibly carrying a tote bag.  A photo is attached to this media release for assisting in helping the public identify the missing.

Anyone with information related to this missing person should call the Evanston Police Department at (847)866-5000.  Anyone believing they may have located Mr. Moran outside of Evanston is asked to call their local police department for an officer to respond.
