California Pizza battery

While waiting in line to be seated at California Pizza Kitchen in Old Orchard Mall, two subjects began arguing about who would be seated next. An argument ensued, and one person pushed the other. No charges were filed.

Vehicle vandalism

The front and rear windows of a car parked in the 10000 block of Frontage Road were smashed open on May 11. No items were reported missing.

A group of juveniles set fire to an unlocked storage shed at NorthShore Community Bank, 5049 Oakton St., on May 11 around 11. The incident damaged several bank brochures, the report stated. No further information was provided.

Sugar in the gas tank?

Elliot Jonathan Holloway, 27, of Chicago, was charged with disorderly conduct on May 11 around 11:40 a.m. Holloway placed a candy bar in his ex-girlfriend’s gas tank, police said.

Offensive note

A Skokie resident reported finding an offensive note on his or her vehicle parked in the 9100 block of Lamon Avenue on May 11.

Stolen cell phone

A woman reported her cell phone stolen after visiting a gas station in the 8000 block of Skokie Boulevard on April 11.

Storage units burglarized

An unknown person(s) entered an unlocked storage unit in the 8500 block of Niles Center Road and removed two bags of copper worth $450 on May 11, police said.

DUI

Sean Bostrom, 23, of Evanston, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on May 11. The driver was stopped in the 8300 block of McCormick Boulevard around 1:20 a.m., police said.
