Friday Blotter: Gene Simmons Doll Stolen

Garage burglary

A garage in the 5100 block of Morse Street was reported burglarized on May 20. According to the report, several golf clubs and two mountain bikes were reported missing. The combined value of said items is around $2,000, the report said.

A garage in the 9300 block of East Prairie Road was reported burglarized on May 19. According to the report, no items were reported missing.

Theft at LA Fitness

A woman reported her locker burglarized while working out at LA Fitness, 3220 Touhy Ave., on May 19. According to the report, several credit cards and $10 in cash was stolen.

Stolen bike

A man reported his bicycle stolen from his storage unit in the 9700 block of Woods Drive on May 19. The bike was valued at around $100, the report said.

$17K in antiques stolen

A woman reported that an unknown person stole about $17,770 worth of antiques from her storage locker at Public Storage, 8220 Skokie Blvd., on May 18. Some of the items included a Gene Simmons doll, Star Wars collectibles and more.
