Friday Blotter: Lock Your Lounge Chairs!

Theft from auto

A car parked in the 9500 block of Gross Point Road was reported burglarized on Nov. 7. According to the report, the suspect(s) smashed out the driver’s side window and removed a $500 police radar detector.

Three air conditioner theft

Police responded to a theft in the 4000 block of Church Street on Nov. 9. According to the report, three air conditioners with a combined value of $7,500 were reported stolen.

Theft from motor vehicle

A car parked in the 7700 block of Tripp Avenue was reported burglarized on Nov. 8. According to the report, the suspect(s) used a blunt object to smash out the driver’s side window. Once inside, the culprit removed a GPS device valued at $150.

Lounge chair theft

Two outdoor lounge chairs were reported stolen from a backyard in the 4600 block of Crain Avenue on Nov. 12.
