Friday Blotter: Pipe Chucked Through Window

Car Window Busted
The rear passenger window of a 2006 Toyota Corolla parked in the 5000 block of Culver Street was busted on April 13.

Threatening Thrifter
Employees at the Salvation Army in the 4300 block of Oakton Street reported that a white male customer in his 30s or 40s weighing 180 to 200 lbs. had threatened workers and drove off.

Pathfinder License Plate Taken
The license plate on a 2001 gold Nissan Pathfinder was reported stolen on April 12. The car was parked in the 4900 block of Cain Street, the report said.

Clay Pipe Chucked Through Window
A clay drainage pipe was thrown through the front window of a home in the 8400 block of Crawford Avenue on April 13. The pipe landed in the middle of the hallway 20 feet from the window, the report said.

Window Seat Wrecked
The front window seat of a car parked in the 8500 block of Crawford Avenue was reported broken on April 12. The husband of the victim said he noticed several rocks outside the window as well as metal rods.
