Friday Blotter: Pots and Pans Lifted

DUI

Oscar Sotelo, 32, of the 4900 block of St. Louis Avenue in Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Feb. 17. According to the report, Sotelo was stopped near Oakton Street and Central Avenue for a traffic violation.

Sidewalk theft

A business owner in the 4100 block of Oakton Street reported several pots and pans stolen from his sidewalk display on March 30. The combined value of said items is around $30.

Stolen iPhone

A woman dining at The Bagel in Old Orchard Mall reported her Apple iPhone 4S stolen on March 30. The victim told police that she might have left her phone on the table unattended.

Tree damaged in car crash

Police were dispatched to the 8200 block of Crawford Avenue on March 30. According to the report, a vehicle crashed into a nearby tree and damaged it. No further information was available.

DUI

Victor Puig, 52, of the 9100 block of LaCrosse Avenue, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on March 30.
