Sex offense

On Aug. 26 at 11:16 p.m., officers responded to a sex offense on the 8300 block of Kolmar. According to the report, a bald white man approached a 24-year-old woman and asked, "Do you want to have sex with me?" The suspect then began masturbating in front of her before he fled south on Kolmar. Police are searching for the man.

On Aug. 26 at 12:35 p.m., a Kerasotes Theater employee saw what he described as a 55-year-old man exit his minivan and get into a 2007 Mercedes Benz with a "55-year-old woman." According to the report, the woman began performing oral sex on the man. The employee yelled at them, "You should have more respect than that, get out of here." The man then exited the Mercedes, and the pair fled in their vehicles.

On Aug. 26 at 4 p.m., a man visited the Skokie police station to report that $1,500 was removed from his Harris Bank account though he was in possession of his debit card. It marked the eighth victim to fall prey in the recent ATM skimming scam.

DUI arrest

Robert Stanley Dziedic, 39, of the 8200 block of Kilpatrick, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol on Aug. 24 at 10:45 p.m. Dziedic was pulled over for a traffic violation near the 3800 block of Oakton Street. Police established that he had a blood alcohol content level of .176. Dziedic was also cited for speeding and driving with a revoked license.
