Fur Salon Window Smashed, 10 Furs Stolen

Also, there were two residential burglaries and another business burglary.


Information is from the Skokie Police Department and Village of Skokie.

  • Burglary on the 8100 block of Elmwood Street, on December 24th between 11:30 a.m. and 12: p.m. Reported:  12/24/2013. Unknown person(s) entered the residence through a rear unlocked door and stole two scarves.
  • Burglary on the 5200 block of Enfield Avenue, on December 24th between 5:09 p.m. and 11:20 p.m.  Reported:  12/24/2013. An unknown person(s) used force to gain entry into the residence.  Jewelry and cash was reported stolen.
  • Burglary at 3417 Church Street, Sutton Studios, on December 26th between 10:50 p.m. and 10:55 p.m.  Reported:  12/26/2013. An unknown person(s) smashed out the glass on the front door and stole a television.
  • Burglary at 7941 Lincoln Avenue, Traeger Furs, on December 24th between 6:11 a.m. and 6:19 a.m.  Reported:  12/25/2013. An unknown person(s) broke the glass on the front door and entered the business.  Approximately ten fur coats were reported stolen.
