GPS Unit Stolen; Cars Burglarized

Burglary from Motor Vehicle

• Burglary from Motor Vehicle on Salem Circle, between September 8th at 11:00 a.m. and September 9th at 7:52 a.m.  Reported:  09/09/2013.An unknown person(s) entered an unlocked Ford parked on the driveway and removed $3.00 in change.

• Burglary from Motor Vehicle on Salem Lane, between September 7th at 3:00 p.m. and September 9th at 8:15 a.m.  Reported:  09/09/2013. An unknown person(s) entered a BMW, while it was parked on the driveway, and stole $3.00 in quarters.

• Burglary from Motor Vehicle on the 8300 block of East Prairie, between September 5th at 11:00 p.m. and September 9th at 5:00 p.m. Reported:  09/09/2013. An unknown person(s) entered the unlocked Mitsubishi and stole a GPS unit and several other items.

• Burglary from Motor Vehicle on Salem Lane, between September 8th at 8:00 p.m. and September 9th at 8:15 a.m.  Reported:  09/10/2013. An unknown person(s) entered a Subaru by unknown means.  Nothing appeared to have been stolen. 

• Burglary to Motor Vehicle on Salem Lane, between September 8th at 9:00 pm. and September 9th at 7:32 a.m.  Reported:  09/09/2013. An unknown person(s) entered the unlocked Honda while it was parked on the driveway.  Nothing was reported taken.

Theft

• Theft on the 4200 block of Oakton Street, on September 9th between 4:00 p.m. and 4:36 p.m.  Reported:  09/09/2013. An unknown person(s) stole a white garden hose from the rear yard.

Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts/Accessories

• Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts/Accessories on the 4500 block of Oakton Street, on September 9th between 8:50 a.m. and 5:45 p.m.  Reported:  09/09/2013. An unknown person(s) removed the driver’s side mirror on a Toyota.

Possession of Drug Equipment

• Possession of Drug Equipment on the 4400 block of Greenwood Street, on September 10th between 4:00 p.m. and 4:59 p.m.  Reported:  09/10/2013. A Skokie Juvenile, 17, was issued a Local Ordinance Citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after the teen was found in possession of a glass marijuana bowl.
