Accused Hair Salon Bandit Pleads 'Not Guilty'

A 41-year-old Evanston resident plead not guilty at the Skokie Courthouse on Friday. Jason Logsdon is charged with robbing 15 different hair salons throughout the Chicagoland area, including two in Skokie.

Jason B. Logsdon, plead not guilty at the Skokie Courthouse on Friday, NBC Chicago reports.

Logsdon is facing a total of 15 counts of armed robbery, 11 of which occurred in Cook County with the remaining four in DuPage County. Some of his earlier robberies happened in Skokie, Morton Grove and Niles. Eventually, Logsdon began robbing hair authorities said. 

Logsdon told police that he used a BB gun and robbed salons because he was addicted to cocaine.

According to NBC, Judge Garit Howard approved a request that Logsdon receive drug treatment while incarcerated.

His next court date is April 11.
