Theft at CVS

A woman was scene stealing several items from CVS, 3434 Dempster St., on April 14 around 8 a.m. It is unknown what the woman took, the report stated.

Stolen wallet, cell phone

A man reported his wallet and cell phone stolen while staying at a hotel in the 5300 block of Touhy Avenue on April 14.

Theft at Macy’s

A loss prevention employee at Macy’s in Old Orchard Mall reported that an unknown male stole several pieces of clothing valued at $170 on April 14.

Identity theft

A woman reported that an unknown person attempted to open an account under her name at a bank in South Dakota on April 14.

DUI

Brian Smolensky, 29, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on April 14. Smolensky was stopped in the 8400 block of Crawford Avenue.

Possession of marijuana

Leonard Panion, 22, was charged with possession of marijuana on April 14. Also charged was Siddiqui Mohammad Ali, 21. The duo was cited in the 8600 block of Laramie Avenue, police said.

Retail theft

Kenny Arnao, 18, was charged with retail theft on April 14. Arano was arrested at Old Orchard Mall.

Domestic battery

A 54-year-old man was charged with domestic battery on April 15. The man was arrested in the 7800 block of Kenneth Avenue.
