iPhone User Robbed While Walking Home

A woman was attacked by two men after walking home from the Skokie Swift station in Skokie on March 15.

A woman was attacked and robbed by two offenders while she was walking home in the 9200 block of Keating Avenue on March 15 around 7:45 p.m., police said.

The victim told police that she was holding her Apple iPhone and coming from the Skokie Swift station when two unknown offenders began following her. One of the subjects then pushed her from behind and removed the phone from her hand, police said. The duo then fled the scene.

The first suspect was described as a black male, dark skin, about 5-foot-11, about 16-years-of-age, slim build and wearing a blue jacket with a hooded sweatshirt. The second offender was described as a black male, dark skin, about 6-foot-2, 18-years-of-age, slim build and also wearing a jacket and hooded sweatshirt, police said.

The phone was valued at around $400, the report stated. No arrests were made.
