Kid Refuses to Hand Over Wallet, Chases Robber

Kid Refuses to Hand Over Wallet, Chases Robber

A kid under the age of 17 walked out of his home in the 9100 block of Kenneth Avenue around 10 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, to put a grill on the curb. At that point, a man approached him and demanded that the juvenile victim "Give me your wallet" and punched him in the face, according to police. 

Despite the fact that he was bleeding and feeling dizzy, the kid chased after the robber while calling the Skokie Police Department. The robber was described as a black man between age 20 to 25, 6'1", of medium build, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans, police reported.

Arrests: Driving with a Suspended/Revoked License

Tierra Deshon Dudley, 31, of the 1800 block of North Natoma Avenue in Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license in the 5000 block of Touhy Avenue on Wednesday, May 29, according to police. 

Vandal Breaks Window With Rock

Someone broke the rear bedroom window of a home in the 9300 block of Kolmar Avenue with a rock between 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, and 8 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, police reported.

Temporary Plate Stolen on Carol

Someone stole a temporary Illinois registration placard from a 2009 Infiniti G37X parked in the 4900 block of Carol Street around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, according to police.
