Luxury Goods, Jewelry, Wallets Stolen In Theft Incidents

Theft

• Theft at 9599 Skokie Boulevard, Double Tree, between October 21st at 3:00 p.m. and October 23rd at 9:00 a.m.  Reported:  11/22/2013. An unknown person(s) stole four pieces of jewelry from inside a room.

• Theft at 4999 Old Orchard Road, on November 22nd between 11:30 a.m. and 12:34 p.m.  Reported:  11/22/2013. An unknown person(s) stole the victim’s wallet from inside her purse while she was having lunch.  

• Theft on the 9600 block of Skokie Boulevard, on November 22nd between 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Reported:  11/22/2013. An unknown person(s) stole the victim’s wallet from inside her purse.

• Theft at 4937 Old Orchard Road, Nordstrom, on November 23rd between 1:47 p.m. and 1:48 p.m.  Reported:  11/23/2013. An unknown subject described as a male black wearing a tan jacket took a Burberry Scarf and Nike thermal jacket and left the store without paying for the items.

• Criminal Defacement of Property at 4833 Oakton Street, on November 23rd at 1:52 p.m.  Reported:  11/23/2013. An unknown person(s) used grey spray paint to write “BOS” on the rear wall of Aldi.

Burglary from Motor Vehicle

• Burglary from Motor Vehicle on the 9600 block of Kedvale Avenue, between November 20th at 10:00 p.m. and November 21st at 7:00 a.m.  Reported:  11/22/2013. An unknown person(s) entered the vehicle by unknown means and stole loose change and a pair of earrings.

Burglary

• Burglary on the 9400 block of Kilbourn Avenue, on November 22nd between 5:50 p.m. and 8:14 p.m.  Reported:  11/22/2013. An unknown person(s) forced open a door and ransacked the home.  Jewelry was reported stolen. 
• Burglary on the 4200 block of Keeney Street, on November 23rd between 6:14 p.m. and 10:02 p.m.  Reported:  11/23/2013. An unknown person(s) forced open a door to the home.  Two of the four bedrooms were ransacked.  It is unknown what is missing at this time.

• Criminal Damage to Property on the 5000 block of Carol Street, on November 23rd between 4:18 p.m. and 8:51 p.m.  Reported:  11/23/2013. An unknown person(s) used a one gallon paint can to damage the trunk and rear windshield of a vehicle.
