The two allegedly got into a heated argument the night before, but only words were exchanged, according to the report.

The victim’s parents witnessed the event unfold from the second floor of their apartment unit. The mother told police she thought the suspect was going to “shoot her son in the face and then shoot her while she was yelling out the window,” the report said.

The alleged gunmen would later flee the scene after the victim’s mother said she was going to call the cops, police said.

Classified as an assault, officers arrived shortly after the incident happened. The victim described the gun as a “black revolver with a long barrel,” police said. Several witnesses said they heard a gunshot after the alleged suspect fled, but police were unable to locate any evidence suggesting there was a discharge.

No charges have been filed at this time.
