Residents home during burglary
Two residents were home in the 8500 block of Kedvale Avenue when they heard their floor creaking from downstairs. While the couple thought it was their son, it was allegedly a burglar who removed several credit cards, an iPhone, $50, two laptops and a camera, among other electronics, according to police.
The alleged burglary was reported on June 16 around 10 p.m. The residents added that they left two of their doors unlocked at the time of the theft, the report said.
Theft from auto
A GPS device valued at around $100 was reported stolen from a car parked in the 9000 block of Kilbourne Avenue on June 15.

A car parked in the 9300 block of Lawndale Avenue was reported burglarized on June 14. Among the missing items included a Coach brand purse, wallet, several credit cards and cash.
Keyed car
A car parked in the 5100 block of Sherwin was reported vandalized on June 14.
Stolen AC unit
An air conditioner unit was from the rear of a business on June 15. The unit was valued at around $4,000, the report said.
Theft
A woman reported that an unknown person(s) removed four gold bracelets from underneath her bed on June 17.
