Monday Blotter: DUI, Drug Charge

Police responded to a criminal damage complaint in the 7600 block of Kenton Avenue on July 14. According to the report, the word “ROYAL” was written on a garage door.

Motor home burglary

Police responded to a motor home burglary in the 5100 block of Suffield Terrace on July 13. According to the report, various tools and a toolbox were reported stolen. The combined value of said items was around $250, the report said.

DUI, intent to deliver

Casey Digan, 18, of the 9200 block of Crawford Avenue, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and driving under the influence of alcohol on July 18. Digan was stopped near the intersection of Drake Avenue and Church Street for travelling with no lights on.

He would later admit to drinking and fail a Breathalyzer test, the report said. Police also found about five grams of marijuana wrapped in several individual small plastic bags in Digan’s backpack, according to the report.

Police responded to a criminal damage complaint at the Skokie Swift on July 18. According to the report, a light pole was vandalized using a black marker.
