Monday Blotter: Lee Street Car Thefts

Theft from auto

A car parked in the 4200 block of Lee Street was reported burglarized on June 10. According to the report about $10 in loose change was removed from the vehicle.

Another car parked in the 4200 block of Lee Street was reported burglarized on June 10. According to the report, an Apple iPhone was removed from the vehicle.

A car parked in the 4300 block of Lee Street was reported burglarized on June 10. According to the report, an Apple iPhone was removed from the vehicle.

A car parked in the 4200 block of Lee Street was reported burglarized on June 10. According to the report, no items of value were removed from the vehicle, but the victim added that he saw the suspects flee from his vehicle.

Stolen bike

A bike valued at around $500 was reported stolen from the 9400 block of Drake Street on June 10.

Theft at Old Navy

Brandy M. Jones, 23, of Chicago, and Monique Bussell, also of Chicago, were charged with retail theft on June 10. The duo allegedly tried to steal more than $200 worth of merchandise from Old Navy, 9435 Skokie Blvd., according to police.
