Locker theft

A man working out at Lifetime Fitness reported $215 in cash missing after he left his items in a locker on May 31. The gym patron said he was sure that he had fastened the lock.

An Apple iPhone was stolen from the basketball court at Lifetime Fitness on June 1. The phone was valued at $300.

Punctured tires

A woman came into the Skokie police station to make a criminal damage compliant on June 1. According to the report, the four tires on her Buick sedan were punctured. The vehicle owner said she suspected a group of 12-year-olds were responsible because she had asked them in the past not to skateboard in front of her house.

Fraudulent charges

A woman who was eating at Magginos in Old Orchard Mall reported her wallet went missing around 4:15 p.m. June 1. While she canceled her credit cards, a charge of $74 was made at a nearby Citgo gasoline station.

Another woman reported her wallet stolen on June 1. The victim was eating at Panera Bread, 9611 Skokie Blvd., when the wallet was removed from her purse. While the woman canceled her credit card, more than $200 was charged at a nearby Gap store.

Theft from motor vehicle

An Apple iPhone was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 9100 block of Terminal Avenue on May 28. According to the report, the owner left his doors unlocked.
