Police responded to a criminal damage complaint in the 8900 block of Bronx Avenue on Jan. 9. According to the report, black spray paint was used to write the letters, “VAC” and “VACT.”

Police responded to a theft at Schroeder and Schroeder Construction, 7300 Central Park, on Jan. 9. According to the report, a chain link fence valued at $1,000 was stolen from the construction company’s property.

A woman who forgot her wallet at Panera Bread reported that she lost more than $800 on Jan. 9. According to the report, the woman left her wallet on the counter while she filled her coffee.

Vehicle vandalism

A blunt object was used to bash the hood of a car parked in the 9300 block of East Prairie Road on Jan. 9.
