A man reported that an unknown person keyed his parked car in the 7400 block of Kedzie Avenue on Sept. 29.
Stolen hubcap
A woman reported that someone stole the hubcap to her Honda sedan as it sat parked in the 8700 block of Springfield Avenue on Sept. 26.
Theft at Macy’s
Robert Rashid, 23, of Evanston, was charged with retail theft on Sept. 29. According to the report, Rashid stole about $942 worth of jeans from Macy’s in Old Orchard Mall.
DUI
Ashley Speyer, 27, of Evanston, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Sept. 30. Speyer was stopped in the 8900 block of McCormick Boulevard for swerving, the report stated. She had a blood alcohol content level of .243, the report said. Her court date is Oct. 18.

Christian Sotomayor, 36, of Skokie, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Sept. 30. Sotomayor was stopped in the 7600 block of Crawford Avenue after police witnessed his vehicle crash into a tree.
