Change stolen from car

About $16 in loose change was stolen from a parked car on June 19. According to the report, the vehicle was left unlocked. The report did not indicate where the incident occurred.

Tool shed burglary

A lawn mower, lawn edger, bush trimmer, gasoline and two extension cords were reported stolen from a tool shed on June 20. According to the report, the victim suspects a lock cutter was used to gain entry. The report did not indicate where the incident occurred.

Underwear theft suspect nabbed

A 20-year-old from Long Grove was charged in the attempted theft of $124 worth of underwear and tank tops from the Macy’s at Old Orchard Mall on June 20. His court date is July 12.

Spare tire stolen

A spare tire to a Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen from underneath the vehicle while it was parked in the 9500 block of Ridgeway Avenue on June 20.

Cooking grill stolen

Police responded to a burglary in the 8200 block of Keating Avenue on June 18. According to the report, a charcoal grill was stolen from the basement of an apartment complex.

Business burglarized

An IBM laptop was stolen from a business in the 8200 block of Kimball Avenue on June 12. Police responded to the scene after an alarm was triggered from the business. No other items were reported missing.

Nearly 3 times over DUI limit

Shoshana Korrub, 30, of the 4200 block of Birchwood Avenue, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on June 19 around 4 a.m. According to the report, police observed Korrub driving erratically in the center lane near Main Street and McCormick Boulevard. She had a blood alcohol content level of .228. Her court date is July 19.

Shed burglarized

A lawnmower and hedge trimmer were stolen from a shed in the 7600 block of Keeler Avenue on June 11. According to the report, the tool shed was left unlocked.
