  • Criminal Damage to Property on the 8000 block of Niles Avenue, on August 20th between 2:25 p.m. and 5:06 p.m. An unknown person(s) broke out the front passenger side window on a Kia Spectra.
Theft

  • Theft at 5300 Touhy, between August 6th at 9:00 a.m. and August 20th at 9:00 a.m. An unknown person(s) damaged the money feeder on a Coca-Cola vending machine on the second floor. 
Retail Theft

  • Retail Theft at 3434 Dempster Street, CVS Pharmacy, on August 21st at 4:35 p.m.  A woman removed items from the sales rack and exited without paying.
Residential Burglary

  • Residential Burglary on Williamsburg Road, on August 20th between 12:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.  An unknown person(s) entered the open and unlocked window and removed a computer.
  • Residential Burglary on Williamsburg Lane, between August 21st at 10:00 p.m. and August 22nd at 6:30 a.m.  An unknown person(s) attempted to gain entry to the residence by pushing open four window screens.
  • Residential Burglary on Williamsburg Lane, between August 21st at 10:00 p.m. and August 22nd at 6:30 hrs. An unknown person(s) entered the unlocked rear door and removed money from the victim’s purse.
  • Residential Burglary on the 3600 block of Grove Street, on August 22nd between 12:20 p.m. and 2:59 p.m. An unknown person(s) entered the unlocked rear door and removed electronic equipment.
  • Residential Burglary on the 8700 block of Keeler Avenue, on August 22nd between 11:45 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.  An unknown person(s) entered the unlocked garage and removed a woman’s bicycle.
  • Residential Burglary on the 9400 block of Lockwood Avenue, on August 22nd between 7:45 p.m. and 8:02 p.m.  An unknown person(s) used force to gain entry to the residence.  Nothing appeared to have been stolen. 
Burglary from Motor Vehicle

  • Burglary from Motor Vehicle on the 8600 block of East Prairie Road, on August 21st between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.  An unknown person(s) opened the unlocked van and removed power tools.
  • Burglary from Motor Vehicle on the 9400 block of Lincolnwood Drive, between August 21st at 8:00 p.m. and August 22nd at 8:21 a.m. An unknown person(s) broke the window on a Chevrolet pickup and stole power tools.
Battery

  • Battery on the 9100 block of Niles Center Road, on August 21st at 2:35 p.m. The victim reported that while riding his bicycle to work a grey Nissan, occupied by four male black subjects, pulled up next to him when the subject in the passenger seat stuck his hand out the window and punched him.   The subjects in the vehicle then laughed and continued driving northbound on Niles Center Rd., and then eastbound Church.

  • Angela Love-Bradford, 45, of North Bell Street, Chicago, charged with Driving on a Suspended/Revoked Driver’s License on the 3200 block of Oakton Street, on 08/20/2013.
  • Lewine Beattie, 69, of Skokie, charged with Driving with No Valid Driver’s License on the 4800 block of Oakton Street, on 08/20/2013.
  • Llovani Gomes, 23, of North Albany Street, Chicago, charged with Possession of Cannabis on the 3300 block of Howard Street, on 08/20/2013.
  • Nicolas Gutierrez-Flores, 46, of West Fletcher Street, Chicago, charged with Driving with No Valid Driver’s License on the 9100 block of Gross Point Road on 08/21/2013.
  • Mohammed Khan, M., 18, of Des Plaines, arrested on a Warrant for Trespass to Residence on 08/21/2013 on the 8000 block of Knox Avenue.
  • Paska Briskovic, 48, of North Keating Street, Chicago, charged with Retail Theft on 08/21/2013 at 4999 Old Orchard Center.
