Mountain Bike Stolen From In Front Of Library

Residential Burglary

  • Residential Burglary on the 8200 block of Skokie Boulevard, on September 17th between 12:01 a.m. and 8:43 a.m.  Reported:  09/17/2013. An unknown person(s) entered the unlocked storage unit and removed several items. 

Theft

  • Theft at 5215 Oakton Street, Skokie Public Library, on September 17th at 7:54 p.m.  Reported:  09/16/2013. A male black subject, 15-18 years old wearing a black coat with a white tag on the front, blue jeans, white shoes, grey and blue backpack was seen taking the victim’s unlocked Schwinn Frontier mountain bike from the bike rack. 

Criminal Defacement of Property

  • Criminal Defacement of Property on the 8100 block of Kilpatrick Avenue, on September 17th between 12:01 a.m. and 8:43 a.m.  Reported:  09/17/2013. An unknown person(s) used silver spray paint to write illegible graffiti on a large utility box.
