Naked Niles Man Attacked Skokie Police Officers, Bit One, Police Said

The 23-year-old told police he had taken two hits of acid before the incident, according to the Skokie Review. An arrest is merely an accusation, not evidence of a conviction.

A Skokie police officer told a judge Friday that Desmond Deal-Banks, 23, of Niles, attacked her and bit her arm after she approached him at about 3:30 a.m. Sept. 25 for running naked down the street, according to the Skokie Review.

A second officer who responded was also injured by Deal-Banks, of the 6500 block of Riverview Drive, according to the original Skokie Police report. He was charged with Aggravated Battery on a Peace Officer, Criminal Damage to State-Supported Property and Obstructing/ Resisting an Officer.

Deal Banks later told police he had taken two hits of acid before the incident, according to the Skokie Review.
