Old Orchard Mall Hit with String of Thefts

Theft at Nordstrom
Marie Richards, 42, was charged with retail theft on April 16. Richards attempted to steal a phone case from Nordstrom in Old Orchard Mall, police said.

Theft at Macy's
Rezaitalab Hamideh Yazdi, 34, and Marzeih Ansari, 54, were charged with retail theft and possession of a retail shield device on April 16. The offenders attempted to steal items from Macy's in Old Orchard Mall, police said.

About $1,200 of children's clothing was reported stolen from Nordstrom in Old Orchard Mall on April 16. According to police, two women entered the kids section, grabbed a handful of clothes and ran out the eastbound exit.

Police responded to a theft at Lord & Taylor on April 16. According to police, two women entered the store and stole clothing and jewelry before fleeing the scene.
