Police Respond to Prostitution Complaint

The following arrest information was supplied by the Skokie Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Prostitution  

Officers responded to a prostitution complaint in the 5200 block of Old Orchard road on April 19 around 12:15 a.m. According to police, an offender agreed and accepted $700 to perform a sexual act. It is unclear if any charges were filed at this time.

Residential burglary

A home in the 3300 block of Manor Court was burglarized on April 21. According to police, a laptop and purse were missing from the home.

Rare guitar stolen

A black guitar signed by the four members of Pink Floyd was reported stolen from a home in the 8400 block of Avers Avenue on April 19.

Stolen speakers

A set of speakers and amplifier were reported stolen from a car in the 8400 block of Niles Center on April 19.

Stolen meds

Several medications were reported stolen from a store in the 3400 block of Dempster Street on April 20 around 1:15 p.m. The offender was described as a Hispanic or Assyrian male, about 29-years-of-age, 5-foot-4 and a 140-pounds, police said.
