Police: Skokie Little League Coach Attacks Father

A little league coach attacked a player's father following a dispute at Niles West High School on Nov. 3, police said.

Police are saying a Skokie little league football coach struck a player’s father in the face following a dispute at Niles West High School on Nov. 3.

The victim was picking up equipment near a football sideline when his son’s coach approached him and said, “Did you call my wife a b****?,” according to the police report. The coach then proceeded to strike the man in the face with an open hand, the report stated.

Soon, heated words were exchanged and the football coach told the father that they should take the fight to the parking lot, the report said. However, the man entered his vehicle and left without further altercation.

At this time, no arrests have been made, but the incident has been referred to detectives.

@ Gloria - I have no idea why it would say "Reject." It should have said "Pending," which means it requires approval. @ John - Pretty sure it's gonna stay up for a while =D Best, George
