Second Skokie Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint

It was the second armed robbery of a Skokie gas station in four days.



A second armed robbery of a gas station in Skokie has occurred four days after an Oct. 21 armed robbery of a gas station. 

A Skokie police report says that on Oct. 25th (Friday) at 10:17 p.m. at a Marathon gas station at 8001 Skokie Boulevard, an unknown male black subject wearing a dark colored jacket, a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers entered the store and pointed a handgun at the clerk.  The offender demanded money from the register.  The clerk was unable to open the register and the offender fled the store without any money.  The offender was last seen northbound in the east alley of Skokie Blvd.

The Oct. 21 robbery took place at a Shell gas station in the 9600 block of Crawford.
