Delivery Boy Robbed on New Year's Eve

A man was robbed for two pizzas valued at around $13, police said.

A recent robbery on New Year’s Eve may have been the last one in Skokie for 2011.

A Little Casers employee delivering two pizzas in the 4900 block of Hull Street was robbed on Dec. 31 around 11 p.m. According to the report, the victim was punched in the face by two men while waiting in an apartment complex hallway. The report also noted that the victim fled the scene frightened, leaving the pizzas behind.

After the robbery, the delivery boy called police and returned to the scene of the crime. The victim was unable to locate the pizzas, which were valued at about $13, according to the report.

The pizza employee denied medical attention and police were unable to locate the suspects, the report said.
