String of Auto Parts Thefts Occurs; Mostly Catalytic Converters

Four catalytic converters and a license plate sticker were stolen overnight between Thursday and Friday. We list the locations.

  • Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts/Accessories on the 10000 block of Old Orchard Road, between September 12th at 7:00 p.m. and September 13th at 8:00 a.m.  Reported:  09/13/2013. An unknown person(s) stole a catalytic converter from a Chevrolet Cavalier.
  • Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts/Accessories on the 8700 block of Drake Avenue, between September 12th at 6:00 p.m. and September 14th at 2:15 p.m.  Reported:  09/14/2013. An unknown person(s) removed the white license plate sticker on a Dodge Caravan.
  • Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts/Accessories on the 8900 block of Lamon Avenue, between September 12th at 10:00 a.m. and September 13th at 8:30 a.m.  Reported:  09/13/2013. An unknown person(s) stole a catalytic converter from a Pontiac Sunfire.
  • Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts/Accessories on the 8800 block of Lavergne Avenue, between September 12th at 8:00 p.m. and September 13th at 8:30 a.m.   Reported:  09/13/2013. An unknown person(s) stole a catalytic converter from a Chevy Cavalier.
  • Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts/Accessories on the 4700 block of Church Avenue, between September 12th at 8:00 p.m. and September 13th at 11:30 a.m.  Reported:  09/13/2013. An unknown person(s) stole a catalytic converter from a Chevrolet Cavalier.
  • Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts/Accessories on the 9000 block of Lacrosse Avenue, between September 12th at 12:00 p.m. and September 13th at 9:15 a.m.  Reported:  09/13/2013. An unknown person(s) stole a catalytic converter from a Chevy Cavalier.
  • Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts/Accessories on the 5200 block of Suffield Court, September 12th at 9:00 p.m. and the morning of September 13th. Reported:  09/13/2013. An unknown person(s) stole a catalytic converter from a Chevy Cavalier.
