Criminal Damage to Property

• Criminal Damage to Property on the 5200 block of Dobson Street, between November 16th at 2:00 p.m. and November 17th at 3:45 p.m.  Reported:  11/18/2013. An unknown person(s) used a firearm to shoot out the rear window of a vehicle parked on the street.

• Criminal Damage to Property on the 9300 block of Skokie Boulevard, on November 19th between 12:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.  Reported:  11/19/2013. An unknown person(s) used a sharp object to cut the front driver side tire on a Honda.

Burglary from Motor Vehicle

• Burglary from Motor Vehicle on the 3400 block of Oakton Street on November 19th between 1:00 p.m. and 3:20 p.m.  Reported:  11/19/2013. An unknown person(s) stole a money order and DVD player from the center console of a vehicle.  The victim was not sure if the vehicle was locked.

Criminal Defacement of Property

• Criminal Defacement of Property on the 4900 block of Dempster Street, on November 19th at 3:47 p.m.  Reported:  11/19/2013. An unknown person(s) used black and green spray paint to write “5” and “Swift” across the upper rear area of the building.

Retail Theft

• Retail Theft at 4999 Old Orchard Road, North Face, on November 19th between 11:52 a.m. 11:53 a.m.  Reported:  11/19/2013. An unknown person(s) stole 20 North Face jackets from the store and fled eastbound.  

• Retail theft at 4999 Old Orchard Road, North Face, between November 17th at 7:30 p.m. and November 18th at 9:30 p.m.  Reported:  11/19/2013. An unknown female black subject approximately 30 to 35 years of age, 5’6”, 180 abs., wearing a black wool hat, black coat and carrying a blue North Face tote cut off the security sensors on three coats while in the fitting room.  When confronted the subject dropped the coats and ran eastbound from the store.

Burglary

• Burglary on the 4900 block of Louise Avenue, on November 19th between 4:54 p.m. and 4:56 p.m.  An unknown male black subject was seen fleeing from the basement of the apartment building.  The witness then observed that the coin compartment of the washing machine had been stolen off the machine. 

• Burglary on the 8000 block of Keating Avenue, on November 19th between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.  Reported:  11/19/2013. An unknown person(s) forced open the door to an apartment unit and removed jewelry and an IPod Touch.  An attempted burglary was also discovered to the door of another unit in the building, but no entry was made.

Theft of Lost Property

• Theft of Lost Property at 4830 Dempster Street, McDonalds, on November 19th at 7:44 p.m.  Reported:  11/19/2013. An unknown person(s) stole an Apple IPhone that had been left on a table. 

Theft

• Theft on the 4900 block of Searle Parkway, between November 17th at 7:30 p.m. and November 18th at 9:30 p.m.  Reported:  11/19/2013. An unknown person(s) used the victim’s credit cards to make unauthorized purchases.

• Wyller, Cheryll, 55, 1300 block of Rand Road, #26, Des Plaines, was arrested on charges of Possession of Cannabis on the 8500 block of McCormick Boulevard, on 11/19/2013.

• Goranson, Abigail R., 31, 1800 block of Dewes, #203, Glenview, was arrested on charges of Possession of Drug Equipment on the 5600 block of Old Orchard Road, on 11/19/2013.

• Trapp, Brett Austin, 18, 5800 block of Lincoln Avenue, Morton Grove, was arrested on charges of Driving with no Valid Driver’s License on the 8500 block of Niles Center Road, on 11/19/2013.

• Taylor, David Michael, 28, 100 block of Keeney Street, Evanston, was arrested on charges of Possession of Cannabis on the 9200 block of Kenton Avenue, on 11/19/2013.

• Talya, Ramsen, 25, 6000 block of N. Whipple Street, Chicago, was arrested on charges of Possession of Cannabis on the 8200 block of Kilbourn Avenue, on 11/19/2013.

• Hampton, Donald, 45, 3500 block of W. Lexington, Chicago, was arrested on charges of Driving with a Suspended/Revoked Driver’s License on the 8200 block of McCormick Boulevard, on 11/19/2013.
