Three Home Burglaries Occur On Monticello

An arrest is merely an accusation, not evidence of a conviction.

The following information is provided by the Skokie Police Department and Village of Skokie. 

Burglary

  • Garage Burglary on the 9400 block of Bennett Avenue, on September 21st,  between 2:45 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.    Reported: 09/21/13. The unknown offender used a screwdriver to pry open the garage side door.  Once inside, the offender removed two yellow boxes full of Snap On tools and two Ryobi screwdrivers.
  • Residential Burglary on the 9500 block of Monticello Avenue, between September 19th at 11:00 p.m. and September 20th at 7:15 a.m.  Reported:  09/20/2013. An unknown person(s) entered the home by removing the window screens.  The offender(s) stole cash and electronic items.
  • Residential Burglary on the 9500 block of Monticello Avenue, between September 19th at 10:30 and September 20th at 1:30 a.m.  Reported:  09/20/2013. An unknown person(s) entered through a rear screened in porch and stole a package of Parliament cigarettes.
  • Residential Burglary on the 9500 block of Monticello Avenue, between September 19th at 10:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. Reported:  09/20/2013. An unknown person(s) entered the home by unknown means and stole an IPad.
