Tuesday Blotter: Driver Caught w/ Marijuana

Unwelcome Advance
A woman reported being sexually harassed by a man after using his phone near the in Village Crossing on Dec. 14. The woman had an argument with her boyfriend earlier in the evening and left his car to "cool off," according to police. A man approached the woman and said "I seen you looking at me." She asked to borrow his cell phone to call her boyfriend. The man allowed her to use his phone, and proceeded to allegedly ask her to lift her shirt and offer $150 for sexual relations, the report noted.
Crafty Beaver Bag Stolen
A man reported items stolen form his unlocked Toyota Forerunner that was parked in the east parking lot of Jewel, 9449 Skokie Blvd., on Dec. 14 at 4 p.m. Sunglasses, dry cleaning, loose change, a checkbook and a Crafty Beaver bag were reported stolen.

Benjamin R. Harris, 36, of the 2000 block of Dodge Avenue in Evanston, was charged with possession of an unlawful substance on Dec. 8. Harris was stopped in Skokie and police allegedly found about 17 grams of marijuana hidden inside his pant leg.
