Thursday Blotter: AC Unit Stolen

Possession of marijuana
Hasban Shaikh, 24, of Chicago, was charged with possession of cannabis on April 13. Shaikh was stopped in the 4600 block of Grove Street for having no rear license plate around 1:50 a.m., police said.
Criminal trespass

A car parked in the 3500 block of Greenleaf Street was entered and rummaged through by an unknown person(s) on April 9. While items in the vehicle were moved, nothing was reported missing, police said.
Stolen AC unit

Police responded to a theft at Odeion Music, 4115 Oakton St., on April 9. According to the report, a Lennox brand air conditioning unit was removed from the rear of the building.
