Thursday Blotter: Car Buglary, Locker Theft

Stolen stereo

A car parked in the 4900 block of Louise Avenue was reported burglarized on April 10. According to the report, the suspect smashed the window and removed the factory stereo. The total damage to the vehicle’s window was $200 and the value of the stereo was also $200, the report said.

Police responded to a theft at Life Time Fitness, 5300 Old Orchard Road, on April 7. According to the report, a man used unknown means to gain access to a locker and removed a pair of $500 sunglasses and a set of car keys.

While removing groceries from her vehicle, a woman accidently dropped her purse on her driveway on April 6. The victim told police she left the purse on the driveway and continued unloading her groceries. However, upon returning, she discovered her purse missing from the driveway, the report said.

Stolen license plate

A woman reported that someone removed her license plate from her vehicle parked in the 9200 block of Kenton Avenue on April 6.
