Thursday Blotter: Car Burglaries

Burglary

Brute force was used to gain entry inside a home in the 4000 block of Burmmel Street on Feb. 25. Nothing was reported missing, however.

Camera stolen from auto

A camera and credit card were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 8400 block of Latrobe Avenue on Feb. 25.

Theft from auto

A police radar detector, LCD projector and autographed photos were reported stolen from a car parked in the 4000 block of Emerson Street on Feb. 24.

DUI

Andrew Prigodich, 32, of Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding on Feb. 24. It is unclear where Prigodich was stopped in Skokie.

Grab and go from Abercrombie

A man grabbed 15 bottles of cologne from Abercrombie & Fitch in Old Orchard Mall and ran out the store on Feb. 22. No arrests were made.

Retail theft

Billy Burkes, 23, of Evanston, was charged with retail theft on Feb. 25. Burkes attempted to steal an item from TJ Maxx, 3337 Golf Road, on Feb. 25.

Stolen plate

A man reported his rear license plate stolen from his parked vehicle in the 7900 block of Kenneth Avenue on Feb. 21.
