Thursday Blotter: Customer Wrecks Christmas Tree

Stolen plates

A car parked in the 9500 block of Monticello Avenue was reported burglarized on Nov. 3. According to the report, the vehicle had its license plates removed.

Suspicious incident

Police responded to 4831 Skokie Blvd., regarding a suspicious incident on Nov. 4. According to the report, an employee told police he believes an unknown person is selling drugs at the parking lot just outside their store.

Police responded to regarding a criminal damage compliant on Oct. 28. According to the report, several vulgar words were written in black marker inside the boy’s bathroom.

Christmas tree damage

A woman trying to return several items at 9701 Skokie Blvd., became so upset at the store’s return policy she allegedly damaged a Christmas tree upon her exit on Nov. 4. The manager valued the damage at about $50.
