Thursday Blotter: Hotel Fight

Hotel fight

Police responded to a fight at , 5201 Old Orchard Road, on Dec. 4. According to the report, police arrived to a room with several half naked men who were bleeding. The report noted that there “was blood everywhere” and several pieces of furniture were either broken or flipped over. No arrests were made, but one individual was transported to Skokie Hospital to treat injuries. The group was also kicked out of the hotel, the report said.

Vehicle vandalism

A car parked in the 7900 block of Keeler Avenue was reported vandalized on Dec. 3. According to the report, the driver’s side window was smashed open. No items were reported missing, though.

Stolen auto

A 2000 Honda sedan parked in the 4800 block of Greenwood Avenue was reported stolen on Dec. 2.

Graffiti

Police responded to a criminal damage compliant in the 4900 block of Louise Avenue on Dec. 2. According to the report, several illegible words were written using spray paint on a garage door.

Stolen wallet

A woman dining at restaurant in reported her wallet stolen on Dec. 4. According to the report, the victim left her purse hanging on the back of her chair with her wallet sticking out. Police are advising woman to keep their belongings in plain view and not on the back of their chairs.
