Stolen bicycle
Police responded to a theft in the 8600 block of Drake Avenue on Oct. 7. According to the report, a bicycle valued at $100 was stolen.
Man scammed for $27K Blackhawk tickets

A man came into the Skokie police station to report a deceptive practice on Oct. 7. According to the report, the victim was contacted by “an old family acquaintance” to purchase a set of four Chicago Blackhawk’s season tickets for $27,400. The victim paid the suspect in full for the tickets prior to receiving them. He was told the tickets were being delivered via mail.
After waiting for several weeks, the tickets never came. The alleged suspect told the victim he spent all $27,400 on “bookies and gambling.”

The victim has yet to receive a refund or the tickets.
Nordstrom theft
Police responded to Nordstrom in regarding a theft on Oct. 7. According to the report, a teenager selected two North Face fleeces and fled the store. The fleeces had a combined value of $358.
Neither store security nor police were able to find the alleged suspect.
Stolen hubcap
A man reported that his hubcaps were stolen while he dined at in on Oct. 7. The victim estimates that his hubcaps are worth $200.
