Hit-and-run arrest

Donna Wynne, 45, of the 8000 block of Parkside in Morton Grove, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol on Aug. 4. Officers responded to a hit-and-run call near Karlov and Lee about 6 p.m. Nearby witnesses said Wynne fled in a tan Acura MDX and officers were able to locate her near the 8000 block of Kilpatrick, where she was arrested.

Steven Turner, 28, of the 4900 block of Church, was arrested for possession of marijuana on Aug. 4. Poice pulled him over for not using a turn signal near Church and Gross Point. Officers realized Turner had a suspended license and was in a state of confusion. After searching him, they found 1.33 grams of marijuana in his right pocket. Turner was issued citations for failing to use a signal when required and driving with a suspended license.

About noon on Aug. 4, a resident from the 4800 block of Carol came into the police station to report that his black 2008 Acura TL was stolen from his parking space. The man also said he reported a burglary to a valet key that was stolen July 28 from a compartment under his radio.

Soft drink throw back

Two Asians said to be in their mid-20s ordered a Wendy's soft drink from the drive-through window and returned minutes later to throw the cup at an employee behind the window on Aug. 4. The drink hit the cashier in the chest and its contain spilled all over the work station.
